Settled In!

Hi family and Friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers as we traveled to Virgina for our training. We just finished our first week of training and have a little free time to give an update. Everyone is adjusting very well, the kids are enjoying there training as well.

We headed out on Saturday...with barely enough room to fit the kids in!

We stopped in West Virignia for a day of fun before heading on in to Virginia on Monday. We have felt your prayers and love this week as we've transitioned into our new temporary home. As I'm writing this, Allie is over at a new friends apartment playing with a group of her new friends and Hunter is on the playground playing with his new friends. They're loving it here! God has given them a special gift by bringing them together with so many other children that are experiencing the same adjustments, anxieties and feelings that they're experiencing right now...250 other children to be exact!

HOW CAN YOU PRAY FOR US OVER THE NEXT 8 WEEKS?

* Pray for time management for Clem and I. There is a lot of work required of all of us here and there doesn't seem to be enough hours to get it all done and still have time to sleep. : )

* Pray that we absorb all that we're learning here and are as prepared as possible when we land on the field.

* The kids are learning the same things that we are. Pray that they absorb what they're learning, that it touches their heart and makes an impact in their lives. Pray that what they're learning will prepare them for the field as well, and will give them a realistic view of what will be waiting for them in Prague.

* Pray that our family relationships are blessed and strengthened during our time here.

* Pray for our extended families that we have had to say goodbye to. It will be atleast 2 years before we'll be seeing extended family again. Our kids will grow a lot in 2 years!

Love,
Clem, Carrie, Hunter and Allie

  4. Elizabeth, we are headed overseas to live in the Czech Republic. This blog is our way of keeping friends and family updated on what God is doing in our lives and through our ministry.
